Would you rather be showered with fake, forced affection that makes her resent you? Your girlfriend should be able to be honest about her feelings (which continue to be HER property, even if she's in a relationship) without you breaking down on her and holding her responsible for your own insecurity. Just because you love her doesn't mean she has a duty to feel the same way about you.
