Today, I asked my teenage daughter to read off directions from my iPhone while I drove. She went on Instagram instead. We missed the turn by 32 miles. FML

Today, I took my daughter out driving to practice for her road test. I told her to make a left into a parking lot. She missed the 30-foot wide entrance, but not the two-foot wide tree. FML

Today, I asked a stranger for directions and then drove in the opposite direction they'd pointed to, all because my ADHD brain did that thing where I couldn't pay attention past their first instruction, which to me sounded like, "Take the first left, then the second right, then fla flafla fla flaflafla." FML

Pain in the neck

Today, my mom drove my car and ran had to make a u turn on a narrow street. Instead of slowing down, she speeds to turn running off the road and denting my car. Make it worse, she blamed me for not giving her good directions. Then follows up with it is not that bad. FML

Today, I learned that you should never ask your 11 year-old daughter to read a text for you while you’re driving. She read a text from a girl I had a one-night stand with on New Year's Eve, demanding why I never called her again. Yes, my wife was also in the car. FML

Today, I was riding in the backseat while my mom was driving. Noticing she was driving way over the speed limit, I opened a police siren app on my iPod to make her slow down. When she realized, she pulled over, kicked me out of the car and made me walk home. FML

I am a Teenager, and if I was you I would have WOOPED SOME ASS!! That's just plain lazy and stupid what she did! I would have taken the gas money needed to go those extra 32 miles and back right out of her allowance! If she said she doesn't care, and she has a job I'd tell her to pay it out of her paycheck, or else she wont have a car, and she can't borrow yours! Actually, I'd take the money, use it to buy a CD or 2 of the music she hates the most, take her car, she can't drive, and YOU will take her everywhere , while blasting that dreadful music!! Muhaha! I'll make a wonderful Mother!!

not really, considering you would give your kids an allowance.. Most parents don't give an allowance. Even 1 dollar a week can give $56 dollars to your kid a year 0.0
