Today, I found a lost dog and called the owner. When he arrived, I thought it would be cute to put the dog down so he would run back into his owner's arms, like in movies. As soon as I put the dog down, it ran away again. FML

this has happened to me 2! she ran away on the first day I brought her home! luckily my bf drove around till he found her. hope everything will turn out ok for you!

Sucks. But maybe it'll teach you and other antisocial people not to try replacing human contact w/ animals that would much rather be w/ their own kind.
