Today, I found a lost dog and called the owner. When he arrived, I thought it would be cute to put the dog down so he would run back into his owner's arms, like in movies. As soon as I put the dog down, it ran away again. FML

Dogs don't run away because they dont like their owner, dogs run away if they're being mistreated/underfed or something like that. I suggest next time you learn how to take care of your pets before going and buying one, I hope that dogs safe. Go make some friends instead, OP.
