I bet they "were going to call later" lol
You havent been on FML long enough to understand perdix's humour. Haha d:
23: the "only" implies no more than once. To establish a minimum, you would want "at least". Therefore, you probably wanted the lesser used YLALO.
They were probably going to surprise you, OP. Ive done that before to cousins and such d: its enjoyable to see their reactions.
This almost seems like it couldn't happen... What a small world!!!
And the parents of the year award goes to...
I'd say them, if it was their intention to drive or fly 5,000 mi to visit their child on a whim for a surprise visit. That'd be pretty cool of them. If that wasn't their intention, then yup. They might be assholes.
Molly and Arthur Weasley! Wait... That's what you meant right? You didn't finish so I guessed
maybe you left an impression of the country on them and they went on vacation. I don't expect my parents to tell me where they go.
I don't expect my parents to tell me where they go either, but I would expect them to at least give me a call or something, when they come to my town, assuming my town is not their town. And given the 5000 miles I think it's either quite rude not to say anything or, as often suspected, surprise visit gone wrong. But wouldn't they tell you that, once you bumped into them?
33, that's a fair enough closing statement, one I hadn't considered. If it was a surprise visit gone wrong, chances are they would've mentioned it before this FML was ever written.

perhaps they were buying you a gift and then driving to surprise you. or, you just suck.
You just got "It's A Small World" stuck in my head.
