Seriously? You don't think you deserved the punishment?
I don't think that ANYONE has the right to violate anyone's diarrhea.
You deserved it because you got caught.
Well I'd be honored that you cared enough about me to look through my diary. Just saying
Never put info in your dairy... Or online for that matter... That you wouldn't want the whole world to know.
I would kindly remind her of that. Like in the middle of dinner say with a friendly smile and voice "hay, remember all those times you used to snoop in my room?" If she gets bitchy just say "oh, just thought i would make conversation". but make sure u stay sweet and innocent sounding. It'll drive her nuts.
so many people think the parents are wrong. sorry, but until I wasn't under my parent's roof I wasn't under any assumption of privacy. Why? They bought everything in my room and could/would take it away. Seriously... too many kids think their parents should be their friends. They shouldn't... a parent is there to teach you about life, not to let you do whatever the **** you want.
You probably should have talked to her and btw.. If she doesn't normally act like this I hate to say it but she is probably either getting bullied at school, had sex before she was ready, or she is pregnant.

Diaries are meant to be private. I'd agree with your mom. Regardless of what she did, you shouldn't have done that.
Me and my sister look out for each other. I have bipolar. When I'm suicidal, talking to me won't get anyone answers. Well wouldn't have when I was younger, pre treatment. If she did that to me, I would have been angry at the time but thankful later, knowing she cared enough. Siblings often know more about each other then the parents do. Sometimes you have to go with your gut. And while snooping seems low, sometimes, depending on the person it really is the only way to know if something is truly wrong and if the parents should be brought into it. This world is not black and white only. There are gray areas that turn a never into an understandable action.
