Today, I chuckled at a "No Smoking" sign as I lit my cigarette. I bent my head down to light it and somehow managed to light my hair on fire. FML

I don't blame older people for smoking back when they started it was cool, all it's harmful effects weren't known, and tobacco companies could still advertise and distort the facts. but anyone who has chosen to smoke after these things stopped is a ******* idiot.

They don't deserve it for smoking. They deserve it for lighting up in a no-smoking area.

YDI for smoking and YDI for disobeying the sign and possibly the law

I chuckle at the idea of a batantly inconsiderate twat getting what she deserves.

Yeahhh. U tellem #1! Stop smoking! ewwww:(

This could just as easily have been "Today, I chuckled at a no smoking sign as I proceeded to light my cigarette. Then a man nearby had a serious asthma attack triggered by the smoke and had to go to the hospital. Now I may be getting sued because I'm an inconsiderate moron who thinks rules only apply to other people." YDI for sure. If it was ok for you to smoke just anywhere, there wouldn't be designated smoking areas. What happened to you was karma. And funny.

Is there a reason why EVERYONE assumes this is a he not a she? Kind of sexist here...

So, before I comment I'd like to preface my statement with a note about where I'm coming from on this issue. I play with fire, it's a hobby, plenty of people do. Some like to blow stuff up, some like getting their skin branded as a body modification, I preform fire dancing. I spin fire poi and "breathe" fire, if you don't know what it is then google it you will find plenty about the history of fire dancing and some cool videos. Anyone who puts fire that close to their face and isn't careful with it totally deserves to light themselves on fire. Also everyone knows that hair products are flammable so if you are using those and get fire that close to your head then YDI. I don't have anything against smokers, I don't smoke, but no smoking signs are there for a reason. If you want to go play in traffic in front of a sign that says "No Jaywalking" then I'll thank you for taking yourself out of the gene pool when your poor choices finally end up killing you. On a side note, I love the Death sticks, and the Monty Python references! Yes I know that makes me a total nerd, I don't care.

Normally, I would respond with a "tl;dr" comment, but I liked how you phrased your response. And anyone who likes the Simpsons and MPATHG is a good person. PS - I've seen and tried "fire spinning" on South Beach before; it's a bla... um... cool... um... awesome!

Yeah it's lots of fun, I do it for the adrenaline rush, and to entertain friends but I expect to get burned sometimes. Comes with the territory.
