Today, I confronted my very passive-aggressive roommate about taking out the trash. With a smug smile, she insisted that I should write her a letter if I want to argue. FML

Dump all the trash in her room and leave a letter "You're with your people now"

Dear Cuntface, Next time you don't take out the trash it goes on your bed. Sincerely, Don't **** with me

next time you have to take it out, reserve an extra smelly piece and hide it in her car.

Sometimes a letter is the best way to express how you're feeling and to not let emotions get in the way of logic and responsibility. But the way your roommate acted it sounds like her way to get you out of the way and not deal with you so her chores don't get done. My roommate is very passive aggressive too. Even if she runs the dishwasher she won't take out the clean utensils she put in - she waits for me to take them out and if I don't she yells at me for taking too long to 'do my part.'

Instead, get close enough for the tiny hairs on the end of your noses just start touching; whisper "take out the ******* trash". Then stare. No blinking. No moving; whisper, "now."

I wrote the first draft for you. Dear **** face, Take out the trash you filthy pig. With love your roomie.
