Today, I'd just finished feeding my parrot and sweeping all the seeds under the cage. As I was walking away, my parrot whistled. I turned around to see him get up onto the food dish, pick up a clawful of food and toss it on the floor. FML

Parrots do that all the time. They want attention, or something. Just teach it some heavy metal covers of ABBA songs.

This is not an unusual behavior. Birds are filthy, filthy creatures.

It obviously wants Taco Bell. The universal sign for Taco Bell is shouting "Taco Taco" and slamming all unwanted food on the floor. You mistook his Taco Taco call for a whistle. I, however, do not recommend succumbing to his wishes unless you want bird feces spewed 6 feet behind his cage.

My bird did the exact same thing, actually all four of them did. That's probably why my parents served fried poultry for a couple days..... hmmmm

Get used to it.. One of the reasons they are a basically useless pet!

maybe its time to change your brand of parrot food.

Whooa. That's...pretty gutsy; maybe "evil", but maybe you can...mould/raise it properly. :-o :D Reminded me of a Cracked.com article I read a long time back. *searches* Here's the link: http://www.cracked.com/article_18930_6-amazingly-intelligent-animals-that-will-creep-you-out.html :-)
