Today, I'd just finished feeding my parrot and sweeping all the seeds under the cage. As I was walking away, my parrot whistled. I turned around to see him get up onto the food dish, pick up a clawful of food and toss it on the floor. FML

Parrots do that all the time. They want attention, or something. Just teach it some heavy metal covers of ABBA songs.

It's probably bored. Amuse it by taking it out of its cage and teaching it some new phrases. I suggest "Here kitty, kitty, kitty!" in a high pitched voice.

Lol...little devil. My cockatiel likes to throw his entire food dish. Parrots like watching people pick things up, and will throw things on purpose to see their reactions. You should look into getting a Tidy Seed feeder (google it). They make them in both small and large sizes now, and they can hang on the inside or the outside of the cage. Basically it's a clear plastic box that the bird has to go into to get the food, and they can't throw or kick the seeds around. They can't even get their feet in the food to do it. It's a little pricey but TOTALLY worth it. My house is nearly seed-free now.
