Today, I decided to do a little shopping at Victoria's Secret. The woman at the register smiled and asked, "Got a special someone to impress?" I told her that my boyfriend of three years was in town for New Year's and we haven't seen each other in months. Then I went home to my four cats. FML

Ugh, screw this. Everyone is entitled to nice underwear. I personally consider it more pathetic if a person only buys underwear for someone else rather than appreciating themselves and their own body, and it sucks that women are taught otherwise.

I'm more about comfort than style, personally, so I pretty much only buy Hanes or whatever cotton undies are on sale at Target. But yeah, there's no reason for OP or anyone else not to get nice things just because they're the only ones looking at them.
