Today, I delivered a pizza to a guy so high out of his mind that I had to let myself in and set it down on a table, because he'd forgotten how to walk, and was on the ground sobbing. FML

I apologize, I shouldn't have smoked that much :/

Cocaine isn't the only drug to get you high. I doubt it was something as serious as that. Maybe marijuana.

Why did you go out of your way to not capitalize the first word, and one that should've been capitalized anyway, but then insist on capitalizing "Hell of a Drug"? Honestly not trying to be a grammar nazi here, but this just baffled me.

Drug? Nah... Cocaine is just my breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert.

Probably pot, since OP's state was recently deciding whether to legalize it. I guess the dude was just so upset that the law wasn't passed that he said, "Screw it, I'm smoking a blunt whether society wants it or not." Are you happy, Washington!? This is what happens when you deprive people of their needs! *takes out weed joint and starts to light it*

BubbleGrunge 18

Lol, I doubt he was on the "pot." Sounds like something strong, or he could have been drunk?

ManicGypsy 22

#58, from what I hear they did pass the law to legalize marijuana in Washington and Colorado. Which would be why the guy was so high that he couldn't answer the door. He was celebrating, got the munchies, ordered a pizza, and probably continued to smoke while waiting for the pizza.

45, nah if 38 was Charlie Sheen, 38 would be winning. They would also have tiger's blood and Adonis DNA.

I think his reference was to the Dave Chapelle "Rick James" skit. Not sure why there are all of these down votes...

From OP's description, sound more like bath salts are a helluva drug.

I doubt it was pot. I know quite a few pot heads. It calms you down and makes you feel happy. I'm pretty sure it wouldn't make you cry. The unable to move part does sound like pot though, but only if you smoke too much. If it was pot, it was probably laced with some other drug that could **** with his emotions like that. The only way we could know if it is pot or not is of OP tells us if the house smells like skunk.

101. I know they did pass it in Colorado for medicinal reasons and just for fun. From what I was reading online you can go and buy it like you buy alcohol. I don't remember if I read anything about Washington though.

169.. Pot did that to me before, when I couldn't walk I laughed so hard I started crying. It happens. And yes both states have legalized it.

That's something to put on youtube.

I hate being high like that sometimes but its just so damn funny.

I know, if only you could do something to avoid that...

You know what's really funny? When people brag about being intoxicated and impaired. It's funny because you look like a complete idiot.

xXHollowIchigoXx 17

I don't understand what is so fun about impairing the mind with (obviously illegal for a reason) drugs. Read a book god damnit! If you're a passionate reader, It can have the same effect on you!

Doc I know you know that cigarettes can impair the mind. Plus what's more harmful cigarettes or weed, ingredient wise.

xXHollowIchigoXx 17

#69 Overall both are bad for you. It's a childish yet valid argument that "Cigarettes cause cancer, why is it legal?". With that argument, everything these days should be illegal. McDonald's causes cancer, chocolate can cause cancer, your cell phone can cause cancer, sex can cause cancer. Yet why are those legal? Firstly, we have to look at the effects on both of them. Cigarettes all n all do nothing to you. One Cigarette a day does nothing over a small period of time. Marijuana (THC) however, has a long term effect after only using it once. What people don't know, and same refuse to accept, is that marijuana does, in fact, slow down your mind. It sends little "Barricades" of sorts to the receivers of your neurons. Without those receivers obtaining those neurons, your mind cannot function properly and to its full potential. I can go on for days on the effects of marijuana, but I'm sure no one would want to read that. Anyways... Read a book!

71 thank you for the informed answer. But nicotine even in small doses does hurt you. Sex? Could I please have your source for that one? Chocolate it depends on the chocolate they say that dark chocolate can actually prevent cancer.

marijuana doesnt do shit so stfu. the thc in it cures cancer while cigs make you get it.

74 By that logic we have the cure for cancer already then. O wait you just uncovered a government conspiracy... On a serious note get informed like hollowichigo

Hiimhaileypotter 52

How the **** does sex cause cancer? Sorry if I'm uninformed but that seems really false. Where are your sources?

xXHollowIchigoXx 17

Oral sex can cause throat cancer.

79 From what I read it's not oral sex directly but a virus that the person may have had at some point in life.

#79 because people don't know how to search for themselves here's an article I got from a website "Bloomberg.com" from a simple search of "oral sex causes throat cancer" on google. Now before someone says something mildly retarded, please note, GOOGLE IS A SEARCH ENGINE. It is not Wikipedia or YouTube where anything can be false on those because people upload freely. The only thing google does is scout the Internet for what it is you're looking for. Still won't believe, do your own damn research. "A virus spread by oral sex may cause more cases of throat cancer in men than smoking, a finding that spurred calls for a new large-scale test of a drug used against the infection. Researchers examined 271 throat-tumor samples collected over 20 years ending in 2004 and found that the percentage of oral cancer linked to the human papillomavirus, or HPV, surged to 72 percent from about 16 percent, according to a report released yesterday in the Journal of Clinical Oncology. By 2020, the virus-linked throat tumors -- which mostly affected men -- will become more common than HPV-caused cervical cancer, the report found. HPV is known for infecting genitals. The finding that it can spread to the throat and cause cancer may increase pressure on Merck & Co., the second-largest U.S. drugmaker, to conduct large-scale trials to see if its vaccine Gardasil, which wards off cervical cancer in women, also prevents HPV throat infections. “The burden of cancer caused by HPV is going to shift from women to men in this decade,” Maura Gillison, an oncologist at Ohio State University and study senior author, said in a telephone interview. “What we believe is happening is that the number of sexual partners and exposure to HPV has risen over that same time period.” Gillison said she worked with researchers at Whitehouse Station, New Jersey-based Merck several years ago to design a study in men. After Merck acquired Schering-Plough Corp. in 2009, though, the trial “was canceled,” she said. No Further Study Pamela Eisele, a spokeswoman for Merck, said the company decided not to move ahead with a big oral cancer study “due to competing research and business priorities.” GlaxoSmithKline Plc (GSK) has “no plans” to study the company’s competing vaccine Cervarix outside of cervical cancer, Jennifer Armstrong, a company spokeswoman, said in an e-mail. Gardasil is approved for preventing cervical, vaginal and anal cancers and genital warts, and is recommended for girls and women ages 9 through 26. It is also approved for preventing genital warts and anal cancer in boys and young men of the same ages. Glaxo’s Cervarix is approved for preventing cervical cancer in females ages 9 through 25. Both vaccines target the HPV strain linked to oral cancer, Gillison said. HPV-linked throat cancers, or orophyaryngeal cancer, are increasing so rapidly that by 2020 there will be 8,700 U.S. cases, with 7,400 cases in men, versus 7,700 cases of cervical cancer, the study said. Male cases alone will outnumber cervical cancer cases soon after 2020, Gillison said. The Ohio State study is based on tumor samples from several U.S. states. HPV Infections Roughly 20 million Americans have genital HPV infections, according to the Atlanta-based Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. At least half of sexually active women and men get it at some point in their lives, the CDC says. Most of the time it doesn’t cause health problems. Until recently, head and neck cancer mainly occurred in older patients and was associated with tobacco and alcohol use. The HPV-linked head and neck cancers, usually of the tonsils, palate or tongue, hit men their 30s, 40s, and 50s, Gillison said. It is unclear why women are affected much less often than men, she said. The decline in HPV-negative oral cancers mirrors the decline of smoking in the U.S., the study said. Treatment involving chemotherapy, radiation and sometimes surgery, “is very nasty,” said Gillison. “It can leave people with permanent physical disfigurement, difficulty with speech and swallowing and poor dental health.” Research Effort Gillison started researching the oral cancer epidemic more than a decade ago as a fellow at Johns Hopkins University. Another researcher told her about a report from Europe of a case of oral cancer that was HPV positive, she said. “I started working on it immediately,” she said. In a 2007 epidemiology study published in the New England Journal of Medicine, Gillison and her colleagues found that having a high number of oral or vaginal sex partners are risk factors for HPV-associated throat cancer. The cancer may also be spread by open-mouth kissing, Gillison said in the interview. “Nobody paid attention to oral HPV infections until 2007,” she said. “We are about 15 years behind in the research” compared with the data on cervical cancer and HPV, she said. An editorial accompanying the study concluded that trials to see whether vaccines prevent oral cancer “are needed, given that prevention through vaccination will almost certainly be the ultimate solution” to HPV-positive oral cancers. A key step would be to perform a natural history study that would follow people over a number of years and track in more detail how HPV-oral infections lead to cancer. This could help inform how to design a vaccine trial, Gillison said. Both vaccines target the HPV strain linked to oral cancer, Gillison said."

Why bother commenting if yoy're not going to read. And like i said it a virus. NOT the act.

xXHollowIchigoXx 17

#86 how do you get the virus? Oral sex. How do you spread the virus? Oral sex. Oh gee. Hmm... I wonder... Could that be?!? Wait! Listen! I'm going out on a whim here! But could it be?! That maybe! Possibly! Oral sex causes cancer!?!

So many people could learn a lesson or two from Doc, holy shit.

Hiimhaileypotter 52

88- You need to calm down, buddy.

#88 you're an idiot.... Oral sex DOES NOT CAUSE CANCER... The act of oral sex does not cause cancer. The virus HPV which can be spread in a multitude of ways is what causes the tumor which can lead to cancer. The "act" itself of oral stimulation from an uninfected person is not cancer causing....

Hiimhaileypotter 52

Just wanted to clarify... My first comment, asking "how the **** does sex cause cancer?" - I wasn't yelling or getting pissed off. I was genuinely confused. xD

Well #69, I've never seen anyone sitting on the floor crying from having to much nicotine in their system.. But it does sound like a blast! **eyeroll**

177 I have seen people cry from lack of it.

It's still from oral sex. Now isn't it?

Like I said it still comes from the act.

Maybe he just needed someone to talk to..

Screw that Doc.. Insult away... They wont remember tomorrow anyway.

The_F3rris 11

Go ahead. We make fun of you drunks way more anyway.

A three-cheese pizza!? What does it mean?

How did he manage to pay? I doubt anybody who can't manage their legs can manage to pull the right amount of money out of their wallet, especially when they're crying.

People I know who order pizza also set out money to hand the guy quickly so OP may have just found money sitting there waiting for him or her.
