@ snickerdoodles It's not really falsifying records since it is a legitimate option offered by the college. The OP would have falsified his record if he went in and changed a grade such as changing a F on his transcript into an A. Also, how many grades did you skip in school? I'm asking because your profile says you're 16 and from America where most graduate high school at 18.
This is the definition of "YDI"
I'm sorry, snick, but you are completely wrong on this one. I'll explain why without resorting to the cheap personal assaults. It is much better to re-take a course than get a failing grade. Sure, it is a waste of time, and if you are at a place where you pay by the hour, a waste of money. Off the top of my head, I can think of at least two valid reasons to drop a course. 1) Lousy professor. You might get stuck in a section with a professor who can't teach (he or she is primarily a researcher) or a grad student who doesn't want to be there. I've had to drop courses because I was baffled, but when I tried again with a competent professor, the material was crystal clear. 2) The class is at a bad time. Until I discovered the magic elixir called coffee, I did very badly in 1 PM classes. I was always up late studying (no, really!) and with the heavy dorm food they served at lunch, I always crashed right afterward. I perfected the art of holding my pencil while sleeping! I'm sure there are other reasons, too, but dropping a class is not tantamount to falsifying records.
Jokes on u xx9wish... too... it's "can't" even spell... lol!!! i guess no one is perfect...grammer people!

In all the physics classes I've taken you could get about 45% or so right and get around a B, so I can kind of see how you'd think you failed and end up with a B, and, if it was close to the drop deadline, how it could lead you to drop. Likely could have waited an hour but I don't know. :/ I just dropped a class, but that was because I couldn't understand a word the professor said, failed the first test, and as it's not a class I need for my major anyway (it's differential equations so I figure it might be useful at some point) and it was taking too much time away from my other classes, I guess I'll take it over the summer with a different professor. I got an A+ in calc 1, an A in calc 2, and an A- in calc 3, so that was pretty disappointing.

You really need to check first before you do something like that. That's 101% your fault, Y completely DI.
How is this in the love category? Also YDI.
