Today, I dropped off a box for my sister at her job. In a rush, I unknowingly parked in a reserved spot. When I got back to my car, I saw that my car was being towed. After successfully flirting myself out of an expensive towing bill, I backed into the pole behind me, leaving a noticeable dent. FML

Today, I found a parking spot in front of my work. I parked and another car pulled into the spot just in front of me. The next thing I know, the car in front backs up and slams into my car. Turns out she didn't notice the fire hydrant next to her spot and screamed at me cause I, "stole her spot." FML

Today, I came outside to leave for work. To my shock and horror my car was gone. My asshole neighbor, who has parked in my spot multiple times decided to let her noisy guests park in my parking spot, so I parked in hers. She had my car towed. FML

Today, I was trying to do a nice thing and let my friend's mom borrow my car. I went to move my mom's car that was parked behind me so that I could get my car out, and then proceeded to back into my dad's new company car. FML

Today, I went to lunch with a friend in her car. I told her to park in a lot that had signs warning that we'd be towed, saying, "They never tow anyone from here. In fact, if you get towed, I'll pay for it." When we returned, her car was gone. I had to pay $145 in cash to get it back. FML

Today, I let my friend borrow my car. She parked it in a towing zone, and it was towed. The best part is, it was towed by a bogus towing company. The cops assure me it's safe in a chop shop somewhere. FML

YDI, you probably took TOO long "dropping" something off. It takes some time for them to notice, call the tow truck, wait for the tow truck to get there, etc. So it's your own damn fault. And the pole?! WOW are you just stupid? Learn how to drive, learn how to not be stupid.

oh and for people assuming she took too long, you're assuming too much. in a big city like New York city, you could pull into a parking garage for some big building, park in the reserved spot and gone up to her sisters office. In a big skyscraper that elevator ride could take awhile back and forth.

Your recklessness is your fault. YDI Additionally, when you saw your car being towed you should have jumped in your driver seat. They can't legally tow your vehicle with you inside.
