You enlisted without asking for the full story first?! FML for sure.
At least you're willingly doing something to help our country. best of luck to you.
i agree, thanks for joining the navy.
lol, that is one good answer. Sign out immidiatly
really? thats your solution?
despite that he still encouraged you to join...must be worth it from his opinion...but yeah don't sign up only cause he recommended to, you must want it yourself or else it will be hell for you
@14 Good point. Why is your name army man? Why did you post this from the UAE? If you are telling the truth, then don't worry about it so much. The Navy isn't so bad and can give you a great start to life. Just don't get in trouble or you're screwed forever.
um maybe he is from there... Most countries with coasts have navies. Just a thought.
Why the **** would you join the navy because some fool tells you to without saying why?
Your scout leader is a tool.
The trolls got pwnd.

You're old enough to join the navy and still in the boy scouts?
@ 1: Maybe he enlisted as a result of his former Boy Scout leader, but yes you can still be in scouts at age 18. OP: If he's a real inspiration and encouraged you to enlist, how did you not discuss his motivation to join until now?
