Today, I facebooked my friends about my upcoming birthday party, and told them to keep the date free. I got several responses telling me that's not possible, because that's the day the new Harry Potter movie comes out. FML

I would honestly have to agree. Opening night of Harry Potter matches no other.

pshh who wouldn't go watch Harry Potter instead *light bulb goes on in head* maybe you can have your birthday party at the movie theater!

I think it's funny that people are still replying to certain comments separately rather than as a direct reply with the new features =D And how dumb do you have to be not to realize that you can spend your bday with your friends watching harry potter?

hahahahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhha. i agree with you.

Hahaha I'm so sorry Harry Potter = Fail

Yeah, no, sorry, I'd do the same. I took a weekend off work for DH. A day to read, a day to recover and cry and talk to my nerdy friends online.

I'm not much of an HP fan, and at 1st the idea that ur friends valued it higher than they valued u disgusted me. But... u can always reschedule, or if you like HP go to the premiere and go out for drinks/dinner (not sur how old u is) afterwards

Wow...that really sucks. Besides the fact that I hate HP (he does nothing but whine lol), your friends were incredibly rude to place the movie above you. But like people have said, party at the movie theater maybe?

not necessarily. opening night is a big deal, and maybe since this persons party is not set in stone, he can rescedule? but its not his fault for having the party on the same day, clearly if he is not a fan he would not be religeously counting down, which is fine

you guys are missing the point. not every one is a freakin hp fan and this person just might not wanna go see hp for their bday if they arent even a fan. plus this persons friends can always go see it another day but apparently watching hp on opening night is more important than his/her bday

I'm sorry but that actually sounded quite disturbing.
