Normally I am opposed to friend's ditching you for a movie premiere, but this is Harry Potter so I'll make an exception. Have your party at the midnight showing of HP.
Phew, the books are better -. - and twilight sucked hard.
Seriously? Its Harry-Freaking-Potter. There is no possible way on earth that your birthday would be more important to them than the movie...how did you not see that coming? It could be my mothers birthday...or my best friends birthday...but i'd still totally ditch and go see harry potter. Seriously, either go to the movie...or be a loser and sit at home and eat cake while everyone goes to watch the amazingness that is harry potter. No offense of course (actually i dont mean that) But YDI and FYL because HP rocks... ~RandomBlonde
only a blonde would say that
@#299 Actually, J K Rowling is Scottish and lives in Edinburgh. British and English are not the same thing, you know.
Because im not with stupid :]
Is your party the night of the fourteenth or the fifteenth? If it's the fourteenth, I'm with them. If it's the fifteenth, FYL and they should have gone to see it earlier in the day or at midnight. (And to the book purists: ...I'm a book purist, but that doesn't mean I'm not going to go the midnight showing! It's way better that way if you are one, actually, because the entire theater knows where to "awww!" and cry and cheer at the right times. It's awesome.)
If they're like me, they've been planning on seeing Harry Potter forever. Parties can be rescheduled, Harry Potter can not. I would just plan my party around the movie. It's what I do for mine.
Im sorry, but the opening night of Harry Potter is really big, and just move it to a day before or after, not that much trouble. Harry Potter would be way more fun.

I would honestly have to agree. Opening night of Harry Potter matches no other.
pshh who wouldn't go watch Harry Potter instead *light bulb goes on in head* maybe you can have your birthday party at the movie theater!
