Today, I went out to meet a wonderful woman I'd chatted with online. I did have a few fears about if she was really just some guy trying to make a fool out of me. When I met her, she really was a girl, and was happy to see me. Problem: she was actually 13. I'm 34. FML

Today, I met and asked a cute girl out on a date. We decided to meet at a fancy restaurant downtown. When I got there I saw her sitting with what turned out to be her parents. They made a huge scene, calling me a pedophile and a low-life. Apparently, the girl was 16 years-old. I'm 25. FML

don't worry about it my roommates make fun of me all the time cause i was dating a girl who was 17 and i was 19, just cause i was in university and she was in high school. it didn't matter to me though because i really liked her, plus in canada the age of consent is 14

If you've never tried internet dating then you shouldn't disrespect it. I met my fiance on the internet. We talked online for three years before we fell in love then met each other. Webcam is great.. It's just like long distance dating. Y'all should stop being rude about this guy's love.
