How can you compliment it if you haven't been able to eat any?
You know that door on the side of the dining room? You know where that goes? It's called the "kitchen," and maybe if you go in there (even offer to help!) you'll avoid the future embarrassment of not knowing how your servant--oops, I mean mom--made dinner.
Serves here right for fishing for compliments. I know she is because it makes sense. Nobody would just RANDOMLY think of it before saying something.
...No one was fishing for compliments
Helping her with dinner might help as well
Where else would it have come from?
You can make it from scratch.
Mac and cheese takes skill to make correctly.
The thought that counts OP :)

Well, that was awkward 0_o You can tell her that she was such a good cook that even her boxed stuff tastes good!
Doesn't matter, it's still mac and cheese. That shit is always good.
