never bothered to ask for a name? picture? especially if the name is familiar n his mom is a therapist
Since you say you "finally" got to meet your boyfriend's parents, it would seem you've been dating him for awhile. In all that time, did you never learn his last name?
Even if she did, it's possible that the boyfriend has a common name. Or his mom has a different last name. Many professional women use their birth names in a professional context. Or his parents are divorced and his mom remarried. My mom's last name is different from mine because she took my stepfather's name.
well his mother really wont like the idea of you dating her son , now that she knows your questioning your sexailty. bet that was a really awkward day . you should be honest and talk to your bf about what your thinking insteaf of leading him on.
As an Englishman I don't understand the everyday American seeing a Therapist... Dose it really help! After all you are on FML just like me, that makes my day better!
Haha, good way to look at it :)
Did you notice that the OP is from Great Britain?
This reminds me of (I think) Meet the Fockers where the mom is a sex therapist. Also reminds me of the episode where Carrie is dating Berger (I think) and his mom is a sexual therapist and Carrie got along with the mom but the bf was so uncomfortable. Depending on her personality, I would feel comfortable discussing sex with a bf's mom, I mean obviously not if she was conservative but if she brought it up and is laid back why not? That's just me though.
One time I had a boyfriend's mom say to me something like "I know he has a big dick, his dad did and all my boys do." I was like ... Awkward! Haha

Why are you carrying on with the relationship, taking it to the next level of meeting the family, if you can easily go on for an hour questioning your sexuality? It sounds like you're leading the guy on until you figure yourself out. Maybe stop seeing him, but keep seeing his mom.
maybe if you guys are that serious you should be able to talk to your boyfriend about it too
