This :).
That's completely disrespectful. While she doesn't have to make her mother happy and obviously can't change who she is, making a scene just to spite her isn't going to get her back on her mom's good side.
yah, nobody PROVED that he did or didn't, but still, life is life, and in death, one should at the very least be respected. i don't think he deserved to die, however, i do believe that he should've spent the rest of his days in prison. and, OP, FYL, bro...getting engaged is big. a celebrity death is ddefinitely not as important as you're own family. unfortunately, this is the time we live in...
i think this was supposed to go on the one about the guy who proposed to his girlfriend and his parents were mad about him being selfish because micheal jackson died.. haha
You are a complete and utter *******.
lol!!!
How's that gonna change anything? It would just piss her off more.
Better than being DISOWNED
no dear, your grammar was ****** too.
And YOUR grammar still fails because it's YOU'RE not YOUR so stop pretending you're better than everyone else and your life will fail less.
Well, to be fair, you are genetically abnormal. And besides, it doesn't sound like there was any animosity, she's just pissed off because she doesn't know how to react.
"So are you done having Downs syndrome or are you gonna start being normal again?"
Are you really comparing lesbians to the mentally challenged?
Oh I didn't realise being homosexual has to do anything with genes, but thanks for clearing that up for all of us.
i get your point, its about people being different people with downes syndrome are different than the average jane/joe so are lesbians/gays its not about being mentally challenged as the other reply-er said its about being different and having people not accept you for who you are put that on a stick and suck on it, haters.
That's just stupid. People aren't Nazis because they don't like one group of people. And wanting to imprison a group of people (AND forcibly sterilize them!) for disagreeing with you is a very Nazi-esque belief. I don't know why I'm replying to a troll.
pretty sure 43 was sarcasm
Just because they don't love gay people doesn't mean they should be imprisoned-they can like them as friends-it's not all or nothing.
#210, be rational here. I didn't insult OP at all and I didn't say that she deserved criticism. First off, you're comparing a sexual preference to an illness. They are seperate things whether or not they are both caused by genetics. Second, how many parents do you see referring to their autistic kids as normal? They generally use positive terms that mean different, such as "special". Accepting you aren't normal does not mean accepting that you are bad. They are different things. I can count at least three fallacies in your post so please troll harder.
If being gay is such an illness.. I'm calling in gay tomorrow no work for me wonder if i could get a doctor's note for that asshole
@ 228. i honestly cannot believe you said that. people make you make this world a horible horible place.
@228: Jesus Christ, you sick homophobe. God I wish people like you didn't exist.
lmfao. that just made my day
I'm sorry, hope she comes around eventually
Actually there absolutely IS something wrong with that question. It's not like the OP just decided one day that she was going to be a lesbian. Do you really think people would just choose to be homosexual when there's such a stigma attached to belonging to that group? Sexuality is being increasingly determined to be influenced by genetics. So really, it's not like the OP is going to be able to just decide some day that she's tired of being a lesbian and be straight...
Thanks @ rinnychan! Actually the comment that I had replied to was #22, but it must've been removed since I don't see it here anymore. The comment said something to the effect of there was "absolutely nothing wrong with the mom's question" and homosexuality being abnormal or something-don't remember exactly what they said about it. Unfortunately when a comment gets removed completely instead of just blanked out, it can make replies to the original comment not make sense-especially when a new comment takes the old comment's number :/
Wow ydi no mom wants their kid to turn out gay! She is probally thinking she did something wrong when you were a kid. When will you start acting normal? Ydi Ydi YDI
WTF? It's not like it's a choice- nobody would actually choose to be gay and have to deal with all the stress and hate that is fueled by such a narrow-minded society made up of people like you, who don't realize that "different" doesn't mean "gross" or "disgusting" or "immoral."
Actualy it is a choice every child at the age of aboutout 15 maybe 14 goes through them being attracted to the same Sex but they aren't gay nobody tells them that everyone goes thought it So they try and accept the fact that they are but nobody really is tthen the public schools tell them that if you have those feelings they really are gay because public schools are run by liberals which are for gay marriage and republicans don't so if they grow up more gays they will get more votes in the long run Is very complicated
@54: I'm sorry? I'm 17 and never once have I gone "hmm, you know what would be nice right about now? Some nice tight pussy."
Actually, that is when you start to REALIZE your sexual orientation, not choose it. Your sexual orientation is decided at birth and not within control of the person, so in no way shape or form does the OP nor any other gay people deserve this type of treatment. There have been gay people since the start of time and there will be to the end of time. Plus, how would you like it if it wasn't considered normal to be straight, if people started saying "that's so straight", and if you weren't allowed somewhere because you were straight? Gays deserve just as many rights as straights have. OP: Don't let your mom decide your sexual orientation, especially since not even you can handle it. Being lesbian/gay is perfectly normal and you should remember that.
Being gay is not a choice. I know I never chose to like girls, I tried my best to like guys, but I couldn't. Nobody chooses that. Get over yourself. Just because you can't see how it's normal doesn't mean it isn't. OP: :( Awh. That really sucks! Your mom needs to learn how to accept you for who you are and who you've always been.
Well, it's a political party in the UK. (a crap one! down with tories!)
its a political party in Canada
Hey 109 how did it make np sense the government runs public school and and the government is mor democrat that republican and democrats are for gay marriage if the government (democrats) grows up people that would vote vote them because of what they beleive and would do anything to get it they would get tons of automatic votes ( gay people are blind and don't look at other issues all they care about is getting to be disgusting leggaly
The government is mainly democratic NOW. So how do you explain the existence of Gay individuals before this? We just came out of 8 years of Republican fun and there were STILL Gays! So In school they are not doing any "covert government brainwashing". In schools, they MAY be teaching tolerance, which is obviously the Sesame Street episode that You Missed. *rolls eyes. HARD.*
So how is it homeschooled kids are gay? you're ******* stupid
Really now? You honestly believe that *everyone* has homosexual attractions during their teenage years. Sounds like someone is denial about coming out of the closet. I don't recall ever having this issue. Hell, I actually deliberately *tried* to date girls because I thought it was cool. (Yes, that was a stupid idea.)
@30, sorry but why is being gay considered 'not normal'? I think it's perfectlly normal.
When I was in high school I told my mom that I was gay and she completely flipped out. I understand where you are coming from. I'd like to tell you it gets better, but I honestly don't know. I'm almost 21 and my mom hasn't come around yet.

oh my god I know how you feel. I came out to my mom recently and got me kicked out of the house so I live with my grandparents. she called me the other day and was like "so have you changed your mind yet? " and I said "sorry mom I'm with my girlfriend. I'll call you later". Just hang in there. :) you got this.
Bring a girlfriend home and make out in front of her.
