Do you really think people would just choose to be homosexual when there's such a stigma attached to belonging to that group? Sexuality is being increasingly determined to be influenced by genetics. Thanks @ rinnychan! Actually the comment that I had replied to was #22, but it must've been removed since I don't see it here anymore. The comment said something to the effect of there was "absolutely nothing wrong with the mom's question" and homosexuality being abnormal or something-don't remember exactly what they said about it. Unfortunately when a comment gets removed completely instead of just blanked out, it can make replies to the original comment not make sense-especially when a new comment takes the old comment's number :/

Actually, that is when you start to REALIZE your sexual orientation, not choose it. Your sexual orientation is decided at birth and not within control of the person, so in no way shape or form does the OP nor any other gay people deserve this type of treatment. There have been gay people since the start of time and there will be to the end of time. Plus, how would you like it if it wasn't considered normal to be straight, if people started saying "that's so straight", and if you weren't allowed somewhere because you were straight?
