well based on the fact that you can't spell your own name, I think it's safe to assume that the company you sent it to was a fast food chain so the manager isn't going to be smart enough to catch it so your life isn't f'd
Way to categorize all fast food employees as dumb. I'm a manager at a McDonalds to pay my way through college.
Unless OP is Sri Lankan, I dont see how you can misspell ur own name. YDI
IT doesnt surprise me that you "spelled" your own name wrong...anyone that spells "spelled" spelt is a dumbass!!!
Both spellings, "spelled" and "spelt" are both correct. "Spelled" is more often used in the USA though.
Spelt - an old kind of wheat with bearded ears and spikelets that each contain two narrow grains, not widely grown but favored as a health food Tell me, how is that anything close to "spelled?" It's not, and the only reason it's accepted is because so damn many people use it wrong because barely anyone can speak English any more.
The FML says she's from the USA.
#31 that is the biggest fail I have ever seen in my life the only reason there IS language is because a society agrees upon the meaning of syllables and the only reason there is spelling IS because a society agrees on the spelling so if everyone spells it that way that's the way it is supposed to be, there is no PROPER english
#31, you've apparently never heard of rape plants, then, have you? Or do you consider "rape" not a verb either? Ahem, refer to my post at 49... Spelt and spelled are both acceptable spellings of the same meaning. You obviously didn't search very hard if that's the only result you got. And I'm pretty sure "spelt" has been around long before "spelled" #69, yes, there is such a thing as proper English. You use it to write your essays.
SPELT is not a word
#35 You ignorant fool, 'spelt' is a word, unless you want to challenge the British English dictionary.
Actually it DOESN'T MATTER. Just pretend that it's your name and go with it. Unless you have an extremely common name, the employer would probably not notice that you misspelled your name. They won't ask you for your Driver License to verify your name for a LONG time...proably after you get the offer.

That's why you look it over BEFORE sending it. Sorry, but YDI.
oh look, I found another homoretardis in its natural habitat trolling and giving the most dumbass YDI remarks.... what a hideous sight!
