Today, I found my husband's journal, and along with it the real reason he took so long to show up to our wedding rehearsals last year. According to the journal, it was because he was too busy wooing a married mother of five and sticking his "slut-banger all up in that fat booty." FML

I understand the whole privacy invading thing is important, trust, etc. But I also believe that people should be open and honest. The ones who spout about privacy are the ones with something to hide. I keep nothing secret from my husband, and expect him to keep nothing secret from me. I've caught him in lies and hiding things before, and since then we've maintained a very happy, open relationship. I think that from day 1 of your relationship, there should be no secrets, nothing to hide. OP, i'm sorry you found out that your husband is a cheating bastard. You leave his ass, get half of everything, and seek alimony if where you live allows. Use the journal to show a judge he was an adulterer from the beginning. But still. The whole situation sucks. I know my husbands passcode to his phone (he knows mine) but we never snoop in each others phones for texts or emails. I dont have a reason to. If he suddenly got more secretive or going outside to talk on his phone....etc then there would be suspicion. And imo that is warranted. But to snoop just Because is wrong.
