Today, I found out I'm being sued by the man whose life I practically saved a month ago. He says the way I pulled him out of the car he was trapped in has left him with permanent back problems. FML

Sorry to hear that. Most states no longer have good samaritan laws to protect people who try to help those in trouble. This is the 1st FML I have ever agreed with. Your life is ******.

if you did it out of the goodness of your heart there is a law that protects you. it's called the good citizens law saying they can't sue you.

seeing your from Canada idk how it is. buh in the states we have the good Samaritan law that will protect u. unless your medical professional ex: firefighter EMT or paramedic

What the hell were you thinking? Unless the car was engulfed in flames—and it wasn't—you had no business moving him. don't stick your fat nose in a life-and-death situation unless you know what you're doing. You ruined that guy's life.
