Holy hell, what's wrong with some people? A horse is NOT as important as someone's education. OP obviously thought that her parents were going to pay for it, and to have it all thrown away by a horse is unfair. I'm sorry, but horses aren't humans, people should relax on practically worshipping animals. Either way though, OP is screwed. I guess the best thing to do is get a job, and it's unfortunate that her education is less important than a damn horse.

I'd rather pay for my horses surgery then college if I had too ... my horse means more to me then education I could easily get the money again somehow .. nothing could ever replace my horse she means the world to me and if anything happened to her I'd like die.

Isn't that what a shotgun is for? Shotguns don't cost as much as surgery, and hey it puts it out of its misery so you can get a real education. Parents who play favorites disgust me. **** horses. If one of my horses needed surgery, of course my family would choose them over college. Your family should look into insurance though.
