Today, I found out my best friend was cheating on her boyfriend. After confronting her boyfriend and showing him proof, he responded with denial and didn't believe me. Now my whole circle of friends not only think I'm trying to start a rumor, but that I'm a home wrecker. FML

Today, I found out that my girlfriend has been cheating on me. I also found out that my best friend knew about it all along. When I confronted him, he tried to justify the betrayal by saying that she paid him to keep quiet. FML

Today, I learned that my "friend" told my other friends that I was homophobic, sexist, and racist. None of that is true and she's just trying to turn everyone against me for no reason. She has also apparently been talking BS behind my back. Worst part is I did nothing to her. I don't know what to do now. FML

This is usually a lose-lose situation. Although, I don't know why you confronted the boyfriend instead of your best friend. She's the one cheating, and should be responsible for admitting the truth to her boyfriend.

What #1 said, and probably many other people, too: why wouldn't you confront her first and give her a chance to come clean to her boyfriend? I mean, she is your best friend. Cheating is wrong, of course, but if she really is your friend she deserves better than for you to go behind her back.

All of you saying she isn't a good friend, how about her friend not being a good girlfriend or a good person? OP is a good person doing a good thing and you who think she is wrong probably are cheaters as well.
