YDI for not buying green. Just kidding- this really sucks for you!
This is actually quite common, especially when they say it is a girl. Sometimes the penis is in a position that they can't see it. They tell you that the sex is not guaranteed when they give you the ultrasound so you should have known that. And anyways, there's nothing wrong with a baby boy having pink items. He doesn't know the difference. It is scientifically proven that pink has a calming effect and reduces aggression anyways so it's actually helpful for him to be around pink.
...and that is why you should always be safe and buy yellow strollers, blankets, clothes etc
This is why gender-neutral colours are so great (: Or don't go ALL pink or ALL blue or whatever, get some of both. And other colours too. Like yellow or green...
At least he doesn't have a blue penis.
A) ultrasound technicians are technically not doctors. B) doctors and ultrasound technicians both are human and can make mistakes. "to err is human," so don't believe absolutely everything you hear, even if the person telling you has a degree. C) the only 100% accurate way to find out your baby's gender is to wait until the baby's born, because, as #300 said, certain things don't always show up. D) even if you had had a girl, why would you want to surround the baby with gender-specific colours instead of surrounding her with all sorts of different - but still pleasant - colours, allowing her to learn and decide which colours she likes best? i'm not criticizing your colour choice, but having more of a variety could help him learn to recognize and name colours faster once he learns to talk.
YDI for stereotyping your child. Gender isn't a personality trait.
this happens every day. deal with it.

That happened to my mom, everyone thought I would be a boy but nope! Next time, decorate in yellow.
Well... you can save it for another time if you do happen to have a girl. :) Congrats! I love baby boys!!
