F the baby's L for having a mom that buys every possible baby supply in the same colour.
YDI for being a sexist. I feel sorry for your baby boy. And agree with 16 and 17, you should buy a "neutral" color, and then let the boy make his own decisions when he gets old enough to do so...
Aw, my parents thought I was going to be a boy. I was going to be Andrew Raymond. I came out with a ****** and they decided on Andelle-Rae. I think I got the better end of the deal. Doctors are never 100 percent right. Just return all of the pink stuff and get blue stuff. No harm, no foul. If you can't return it, sell it and use the money to buy blue stuff.
Eh, don't gender stereotype next time, just because it has a ****** doesn't mean it's going to like pink. Try neutral pastels next time, green, yellow, purple etc. Not really a fml to be honest, ultrasounds are notoriously unreliable when it comes to determining gender, the only way to tell and be 100% sure is an Amnio or perhaps one of those new 3D ultrasounds.
Oh wow, I didn't know the blue/pink thing was that serious for some people. I guess it's a deep cultural thing.
One thing I have to say is that it doesn't matter what color the baby will like or not. The baby can't tell the difference and until they get to a certain age all the colors and themes are up to you. You are the one buying the stuff anyway not the baby.
At least your boy will look fabulous! YDI. 1) Be thankful that you have a healthy child. 2) Who goes all out like this anymore? Wait for the kid to come.. or at least pick a neutral color/theme. 3) Who gives a crap. Yes, you may gets some awkward moments with strangers that call the baby a girl, but other than that... IT'S OK.
Not really; back in the old days, it was reversed, because pink was closer to red, and that was a manlier colour than blue.
Well, many couples LOVE baby shopping. I know I guess I probably would, even though I hate children and do not plan on having any of my own, lol. Also, a lot of people get tons of gifts and such when having a child. For some reason, from what I've noticed, it is especially common when it's a girl. I don't know why...
Congrats, but that's why you should get neutral colors like earth tones or yellow.

That happened to my mom, everyone thought I would be a boy but nope! Next time, decorate in yellow.
Well... you can save it for another time if you do happen to have a girl. :) Congrats! I love baby boys!!
