Today, I found out that I'm immune to laughing gas and partially immune to novocaine while I was getting two teeth pulled. FML

See, I have a GOOD dentist and he doesn't start any procedure before the Novocaine kicks in.

I found out Novocaine has little to no effect on me this way, too... 11 years ago. I can still feel it. I am sorry : (

HAHAHA that happened to me but with laughing gas...they had to inject me and it hurt like hell. :P

are you a red head? recent articles/news programs have spoke about how red heads tend to need more anesthesia and/or novacaine.

IDK if OP is a redhead, but I am, and I will attest to the fact that they always need to inject me with the anestesia more than once because I can always feel what they are doing quite a bit!! I think you have a very valid point!!
