Today, I found out that I was not adopted and in fact my parents are my biological parents. How did I find out? Over dinner. How long have I been believing I was adopted? 22 years. Why did I start believing I was adopted? My siblings thought it would be a funny joke. My mom played along. FML

Baby pictures don't prove anything. Plenty of people adopt infants and take pictures

YDI. You are so lame. That's a joke that all siblings play on their younger siblings, and nobody ever actually believes it. Your mom just played along because she figured you couldn't be STUPID enough to buy into it.

As a kid, you do believe it and typically run to your mom while crying your eyes out and ask her if it's true. If your mom then tells you it IS true and even reinforces it over the years... Hard not to believe it.

LMAO! It's a youngest child right of passage. We did the same thing to my little sister. She was convinced we found her in a dumpster (with a mozzarella stick in her nose no less) until she was 7. She would get angry at me and our brothers and stomp off screaming "I wish you guys just left me in the dumpster!" My parent's did nothing to stop this.
