are most of you responding really hairy, angry women? shaving isn't such an awful experience. yes, i'm a woman. just because women have hair doesn't mean it's attractive. guys know we have hair, but they don't want to see it. almost every woman i've met has shaved her armpits. FYL, op, but just ask her to shave. it shouldn't be that big of a deal for her. :)

Speak for yourself. I have sensitive skin, and shaving under my arms has induced infections twice now, leading to hideously ugly rashes, no deodorant for months in summer, and no shaving. I would rather have kept the hair, to be honest. And yet I feel I must keep shaving and risk doing it again or I will never be seen as 'sexy'. Yeah, that's not problematic at all.

If you don't have a ridiculous amount of hair, try plucking? The hair grows thinner (and less) eventually. Plus, it grows slower so you don't have to do it that often. If you have so much hair it'll take forever to pluck, try waxing instead. Hurts like crap but what the heck, it'll be over in a smidgen :) Do a patch test first, though -since you have sensitive skin.

She has armpit hair... your point? Then, if she has more then you, you're either younger than her, you shave, or... So, really. Who should we feel sorry for here? Her, the person w/ the bf who CARES about hair, or you, the person with the gf who chooses not to shave. I wonder... #39 is my hero.

Yo, man. If you're from Malaysia, it's totally to be expected that dudes have very little hair. Ask her to shave, deal, or dump her. This shouldn't be difficult.

Excellent idea! Honestly, armpit hair looks equally gross on men and women, so I don't get why women are expected to shave it and men aren't.
