Today, I found out that my girlfriend of five months is pregnant. Apparently, she stopped taking her pill two months ago because "we" wanted a baby. I don't recall ever having that discussion with her. FML

Fisty, to all the people who are telling OP it's his fault for having sex: Get over yourself. You wouldn't tell someone who was crippled from being hit by a drunk driver on the road it's his fault, because he should have known that could happen when he got his license. You wouldn't tell someone they deserve the consequences of their actions for the sole reason that they knew there was a chance that they could suffer those consequences for anything other than pregnancy. so as long as you call an unwanted pregnancy a "consequence" then you're being a hypocrite, so please, show some consistency. Second, people have sex for pleasure. Accept that not everyone thinks of marriage in the same way as you and stop judging us for having pre-marital sex. OPs girlfriend lied to him, and is dumping a life of responsiblity on him for something he didn't want. No one deserves this. Under these circumstances, he should have the moral right to walk away, even if he doesn't have the legal one. It's funny because if the genders were reversed, and the guy secretely stopped using protection and got his girlfriend pregnant, no one would be saying it's the woman's fault.

exactly, its not the guys fault at all. He trusted his gf and if his gf was like 90% of women his trust would have seen him being able to use just the pill as contraception and no babies. The fault here is completely with the woman, she tricked him into getting her pregnant and will probably do some other devious shit in the future.
