xele tells us more.
Oh yeah, I am from Poland and its very UNcommon to NOT live with your parents even at the age of 30 and having your own family. People here have family houses and we dont move out like ppl in US. Houses are passed down on younger generations who takes responsibility for it and their older parents at the same time.

YDI for being polish not russian
Mother Russia ftw
Reading other peoples mail is a Federal Offence and is punisable by Prison time. Oh and move out.
People are missing the point. It's the internet. Even if he moves out she'll still have access to the e-mail account. I say change the password and sue her/delete her mail.
Pretty sure it's paper mail, no where did it say email, he said "withholding letters" which implies physically keeping paper mail...so...
Polish parents be crazy!
go get a p.o. box. now. no, now. right now. go.
Your a bit of a late bloomer aren't you, to be still in college at 25, or are you working on your masters? Anyway, it sucks your mom is taking your letters! I'd try and move out if I where you
sue her for intruding into mails that are not addressed to herself
To everyone commenting on the OP being 25 and still living at his parents: I'm 23, and i still live with my parents. I am not currently able to afford to move out, rent prices are too high and i certainly can't get a mortgage. My boyfriend and I plan on moving out together sometime this year, but he is currently finding it very difficult to find a job. ANY job. Like the other 2.7 million other people in the UK at the moment. Just because i still live with my parents doesn't mean i'm actually chosing to be there.
agree! Living with your parents doesn't make you a lazy ass. Just because most of the people HAVE to get out of her/his parents house, doesn't make him/her better that us (who still live with our parents).
I was unemployed for a long time. Being under-35 means only getting housing benefit at the house share rate. My local council had no spaces available in their ones. People who advertise on the likes of spareroom only want "professionals" or they're really skeevy. "Bi couple looking for lesbian, bi or bi-curious female to rent spare room" level skeevy. Every single one in this area had the "no DSS" box ticked. I'm working now, but it's only just above minimum wage, and I still haven't saved up a deposit. And even so. I don't see the point in renting a place when my work sends me all over the country, living in hotels for a week, two weeks at a time.
YDI for being a momma's boy... here's an idea, get a PO Box and tell your mommy to stay the hell out of your shit

I'd say grow a pair and move out of your parents house. You're 25.
My parents tried to do that to me. I got a P.O. Box until I had enough money to move out of my house.
