YDI for giving your parents access to your bank account. my parents would do the same in a heartbeat. and thats why I transferred all my funds from TD to RBC when i was 12
that is ******* impossible you mother ******* douchebag!!!!! It is people like you that piss me off to the point I almost have to return to anger management.
Wow, like no one's ever written THIS before. YDI if it's true but I doubt it.
Just today, my mother took the last of my money to pay for shit too. I don't even have a ******* job and she STILL does it. I wouldn't mind if it wasn't /all the time/, if I actually had a job, and if she wouldn't keep making fake promises about paying it back. Knew I should have moved in with grandma when I had the chance.
Everyone is a lawyer on here I guess. *laughs* Over $28,000? Yeah, I'd sue, and children can sue their parents. How the hell do you think kids get emancipated? I would also call the bank and ask WTH did they allow a withdrawal of that size to someone who doesn't own the account. Secondly, is a minor going to have 28,000? *laughs* I guess everyone on here must have a silver spoon in their mouth, and was born with tons of money so a 16 year old kid would have 28k. Thirdly, even if they are your parents they had no right to the money even if it was gifts and or you earned it. I cannot believe the moronic comments from the people on here half the time. Half the time they don't read the whole thing and the other half they think that their words are the greatest. *laughing* Lots of people like to hear themselves talk IMO. But I bet 1/2 are too afraid to spill the beans, but enjoy putting others down to make themselves feel better about their f'ed up lives. Oh, and in case you didn't know or don't bother to read... I don't come back and read comments left to me. So, whether you agree or disagree. Doesn't matter to me. I've said what I need to say. :D
if this guy is a minor, i dont think they're saying that they took out the whole 28k from his bank account He says that they /are/ 28k in debt, and they took his money out of his bank account to /help/ pay for it sadly that means hes down to $27 but yes, a minor can earn a couple thousand dollars by themselves from working, gifts, etc and when you dont have a real career, losing all that can be a big blow
When will you twats learn not to let other people have access to your bank accounts?
Move out and disown them as soon as you can or they will always be in your pockets. And generally they only get worse - more needy and more manipulative. Soon you'll be in debt for them.
To the people saying that he owed them more than that anyways, his parents owed their parents then, and op's kids he has in the future owe him. But if op's parents don't pay theirs back, op shouldn't pay them back. OP will probably spend plenty taking care of them in their old age anyways. FYL OP
YDI for being greedy...
If you're living with them and are under 18: don't worry about it. The same thing's happening with me, and I'm fine with it.

That's horrible! How dare they! You should sue them when they get back on their feet.
welcome to my life. my mother stole the 30k my grandparents gave me for sophomore year to 'pay off' her debts. i'm now 90k in debt after all the interest from the loan i had to take out.
