that sucks really hard, haha
Damn, everyone has gone crazy in here lol. Well OP, do get tested for any genetic anomalies. As long as you have no medical issues, I'm pretty sure you'll be okay. BTW to those who commented about having extra fingers/toes: that doesn't necessarily happen due to interbreeding, polydactyly is actually a dominant trait in humans. I am American, my parents are completely not related in any way, shape or form and I was born with 6 fingers on each hand (a trait carried on from my father's genes).
I really don't get why so many people freak out about this. It is NOT incest, for one, and doesn't have any higher risk for genetic disorders/disabilities. Many, many, famous people married their cousins. Adams, Darwin, Einstein, Jefferson, FDR... I could go on and on. Notice how many of those were American presidents? There are many more who were in other governmental roles too. It isn't illegal, and it never has been. Maybe you should do some research first, before freaking out about something that has no logical reason for being 'gross' or 'wrong' to you.
if it makes you feel any better, Charles Darwin married his cousin (i'm sure there's a bit of irony in that)
Who cares if they're cousins?
OOO harsh
Number 154, Show some intellectual integrity, instead of blatant ad hominem arguments, "I'm still trying to see if I can find a Christian that can convince me that they're not all the same, then maybe I'll consider pursing that path again." Judge the message, not the messenger. And after all your complaints about hypocricy you say... "Since you stereotyped all of us so nonchalantly, I think I'll go ahead and put you in a group myself." You are going to find hypocricy everywhere, i have found very few athiests that can live up to the logical consequences of a belief that there is no God. But just because most athiests are also hypocrits doesn't mean i won't take athiest arguments seriously. It is athiest arguments that convinced me, not whether I, or any other athiest could live it out.

This happens more often then you'd think. But still, FYL.
My parents are first cousins too, lol, I turned out fine. Just don't go off with your first cousin, there will probably be some trouble there :P
