#25, biologically speaking, first cousins can breed and be far enough apart gentically to not cause any problems at all. They shouldn't repeat the action over and over through generations, but OP's singular case, assuming she doesn't plan to marry a cousin, really means nothing. It's just not that big of a deal medically, and I don't know that I would think much of it either way. I mean, when she meets people, she might not want to open with that, but who really cares? Sorry for the shock OP, but I don't think I would care much if I knew someone in this scenario, so if you're worried about what people think, maybe that helps.

My mom and dad just got divorced and my mom likes her cousin now... i feel your pain... it's not about deformities... it's about morals and you feeling like a disgusting person. ppl need to stop being insensitive. it's alright... just know that they make each other happy... one day, hopefully, it'll stop giving you goosebumps...
