My parents are first cousins too, lol, I turned out fine. Just don't go off with your first cousin, there will probably be some trouble there :P

You know, some of these replies just make me sad. Some of you cling onto the findings of evidence over 100, 000, 000, 000 years old, and yet you insult the bible for being only about 2000 years old. No. The bible is not 100% accurate, but sadly, it is the most accurate document of the past that mankind posseses. To any of you who still subscribe to the "Flying Spaghetti monster" theory. Don't worry. God will still love you even if it takes you until the end of the earth to aknowledge his existence. That wasn't an insult either. I am merely stating the truth. Which I could technically go on about, but I'll spare you. Btw OP: It's okay. Don't feel too bad. You've lasted this long and done okay. :)

A lot of genetic problems happen between brother and sister not necessarily cousins but it does happen. cousins are not technically incest but I suppose if you're close to your cousins then it feels like incest and also it depends on your parents' parents and grandparents to determine how "diverse" your gene pool is. the more diverse the less chance you are to have a genetice disability and vise versa.

that's not really FML. there were many ppl in my high school who were of pakistani descent whose parents are first cousins.

1. ew. that's kinda weird 2. #34 is a bible thumper. i'm a Christian and i have only been to church about 3-5 times in my life. and why bring religion into this? if the op thinks its weird and a little creepy then fine. nobody cares if god is ok with it!! this isnt even a religious site, its just to show how f*cked up someones life is, even if they deserved it or not. i think it's disturbing, and other people don't. it's called and opinion. i cant see why ppl still can get passed that different people will always think differently whether you like it or not.
