My understanding is that first cousins is acceptable in most of the world, and several states in the U.S.. It takes several generations of close marriages before problems start to happen.

It sounds worse than it really is. There is a slightly increased risk for birth defects in children of first cousins, but it's very small -- only 3 or 4%. There are a lot of other, more common and culturally accepted things that produce a much greater risk of problems. Drinking or smoking while pregnant is a big one (not that this is "acceptable," per se, but moreso than cousin lovin' anyway), of course. Age is actually a significant factor as well; you're twice as likely to have birth defects if your mom is 40 or older than you are if your mom and dad are cousins.

One of my friends is Christian to the fullest,he doesn't curse or do any fun stuff in my opinion. Like watch movies, video games... Anything entertainment wise. Besides Christian music. He's also about to get married with his girl friend who love and are learning to love each other more and more as time passes. He my friend is a true believer who attends church very frequently.. =)

crap. didnt send the whole thing well anyways: i love God with all my heart, well i dont go to church but hey thats not a sin or whatever, and i go to a private school as well. BUT my friends and i are probably the craziest, most fun people you will ever meet ha and yes we watch movies, play video games, date, party, facebook, listen to music, etc just wanted to let u know:)
