The majority of you people are ignorant morons. In fact, unfortunately I find that most people are. There are a hell of a lot of places in the world where cousin marriages are more common than any other kind of marriage. And it does slightly increase the risk of genetic defects but no more than if 2 unrelated people were a bit older than usual when they had a kid. I'm sure you wouldn't all cause such a big deal over something like that. It's weird for sure if you're not used to the idea of it, but it's no big deal once you get over the shock of it. For a lot of people, this is normal.

for a lot of people its also immoral, illegal, disgusting, INCEST and just plain stupid. it puts the life of the imbred child in danger both emotionally and health wise. its selfish. yeah, it used to be a very common practice for cousins, even first cousins, to marry. right here in the US, but since we've become wiser and more educated as a whole, we've since seent he error of out ways and made this illegal for all of the above stated reasons. mainly becasue its disgusting and dangerous thought ;)

you know what i don't understand? how some Christians are all like: "God loves everyone just the way they are!" and then be like "God hates gays!" or something. I personally think that they are delirious, God doesn't exist.
