Today, I found out that the $200 I reluctantly gave to my mother so she could rent a house was paid to a scammer. Now she wants to live with me, in my one bedroom apartment. FML

Sorry about your mom's stupid mistake OP, but you can't kick out your own mom right? Hope you explained everything to her so that she won't make the same mistake twice...

The dad who mailed $200 to the wrong address should guest star in this sitcom.

Haha I would tell my mom to **** off If she can't be responsible with money at her age She deserves to be on the streets She gives you money Not the other way around

Wow, not even I am that evil... I would at least put my mom in with other family people, if I didn't want her around.

Sounds exactly like that TV show Mom

oh come on...she's your mother for God's sake! she carried you for 9 months in her womb, can't you stand her for a while?!

I've known a mother who would criticize her kid over the point of abuse and act like a full on stalker. If she was told to back off she'd just say 'after all I've done for you, why would you say that!!!' Just because you gave birth to someone doesn't mean you are a personal god to your child for life.

Shes your Mum, look after her, she had the decency to raise you.

Tell her I love you mom but no way in hell are you moving in with me.

Who cares, it's your mother. Take her in.

I don't get how people actually thinking that way about their mothers. fyl because she is moving to your tiny place? hell, man. If my mom ever needed a place, I wouldn't care to give her all I've got and live in the streets jusy to make her feel safe and got a home. Down vote me as much as you want. Whoever think the way you just did about their mother is a complete idiot. Your mother is irreplaceable and she deserves a better son than you. Bye.

You don't know the OP's relationship with his/her mother, the mother's character or the size of the apartment. The OP didn't say that he/she won't let his/her mother move it, so it is his/her right to be annoyed, because it's probably not going to be pleasant. For example, I love my mother dearly and owe her much, but our relationship was horrible when I was still living at home. She also snores very loudly. If she moved into my apartment, I would flee.

So, basically you rather your own mother to be homeless and begging for food if she ever needed a home or a shelter than let her in with you in the same house....? Well, try not to be as bad to your kids so they don't think the same way you do. God...
