poor kid wow what an ass he's gonna pay for it when your soon realizes it
I can't really say this without sounding bratty and I don't mean to be...my dad is great (now), my husband is a wonderful father, and his dad is his best friend. As I said, I'm not trying to be mean. I just want to give credit to all those fathers doing their job well. I honestly feel bad for anyone who doesn't have that and loathe any man who won't be that.
I agree #72, unfortunately my biological father was one of the scumbags but I have a great step father who stepped up to the plate and has always worked hard for my siblings and I. It really does hurt when your father could care less, and I wish there were more fathers like yours and your husband.
72, 77, 81 Great to hear. All too often, we only hear the complainers (not that its not justified). No one posts about how great their dad, mom, spouse is because they think no-one wants to hear them brag. Some times I have to spend time on mylifeisg.com to see people talk about the good things in their life
but then again he probably knows all te better to start now
FY kid's life.
YSDI for having a non-private (assuming) facebook account and adding his relatives to it. Your relatives are not friends, they are relatives.
What? Why shouldn't the OP's son keep his dad as a friend? If he ever *actually* wants to reëstablish contact, Facebook's a great way to decide where, when, etc. to meet. Phone numbers might change, but a Facebook page is almost forever.
Also, 22, relatives can be friends too. My sisters are a couple of my closest friends, and after I moved out, my mom and I have become really close too. The terms "relative" and "friend" are not mutually exclusive.
