thats why I only use that stuff to clean my pipes
Even a tiny bit of acetone can eat through the plastic casings that components on a motherboard and that could completely ruin a lot of parts. it it was an important enough part it could short out the motherboard completely.
I doubt a few drops of acetone went past the plate the keyboard is on.. And you can buy a USB keyboard to replace the laptop keyboard. People exaggerate way to much.
Come on guys don't be dumb, the nail polish went down through the keyboard, and got acetone on the motherboard. I think it's pretty obvious here.
well obviously you're too stupid to own a computer. Because no one in their right mind does their nails at there computer. I mean seriously if you wanted to do your nails why don't you sit down at the living room table and do them. Or even the coffee table in the living room. Big shocker.... Congratulations you have got the idiot award of the year,
Yes, but if it, you know, seeped through the keyboard, it could damage the motherboard and other components below. This is of course assuming it is a laptop, but that's just because I figure OP isn't so much of an imbecile that she wouldn't think to replace a desktop's keyboard.
3 next time it is better not to try to do your nails over your laptop. As computer equipment is very expensive usually I would have to say ydi....

And that kids is why we can't have nice things.
Kind of common sense one would think.
