Today, I found out that my girlfriend of five months is pregnant. Apparently, she stopped taking her pill two months ago because "we" wanted a baby. I don't recall ever having that discussion with her. FML

Today, I found out that even though my girlfriend is on the pill, and even though my girlfriend took emergency contraception, she became pregnant days after the first time we had sex without a condom. FML

Today, three weeks after my girlfriend told me she was pregnant, she admitted it was a lie. Turned out it was just a test to see if I'd break up with her or not. I didn't, but I did just break the bank buying all the things we'd need for an actual kid. FML

Today, after my wife and I have been trying for a baby for 2 years, I found out she's still on the pill. Apparently when she was a teen she had bad period cramps, so her doctor gave her the pill for the pain. She never realized it stops pregnancy. FML

88- people can't tell if a girl is on the pill...including a boyfriend if she doesn't tell him. there's no 'signs' of someone being on the pill. unless a girl just wants it raw, or wants a kid. ;)

Do you actually know she wasn't on the pill? Or are you just assuming that 'cause she got pregnant? If you found out she was never on the pill then FYL but if you're assuming it then YDI. Nothing's 100% eitherway, suck it up princess, shit happens.

OP, here's the thing: Whether or not your girlfriend was on the pill is really only incidental. It is totally and completely your responsibility if you are going to be a father. If you are going to have sexual intercourse -- which often results in children -- you MUST be always cognizant of the possible consequences. Sure, you should have used a condom, but even with the pill AND a condom, she could have gotten pregnant. Hell of a time to fall asleep at the wheel, OP. I hope you don't further complicate your own life and ruin hers by running away from your responsibilities now.
