Today, I gave my dad $40 and asked him if he can get me lunch on his way back home. Long story short he came back empty handed telling me it was my fault for trusting him with McNuggets. FML

Today, a woman came through my drive-thru and ordered a latte, but the bank had closed off her cards and she was short 30 cents in cash. I felt bad, so I paid for her. When I went home, I told my dad what I did, thinking he'd be proud of how he raised me but no, he said I'd wasted my money, and made me feel bad about it. FML

Today, I was working with the kid I babysit for. We were out and he complained that he was hungry. I spent my very last $2 on chicken nuggets for him and a coffee for myself. Just as I sat down, he knocked over my coffee, spilling it into his chicken nuggets. Then he cried for over an hour. FML

Today, I was invited by my dad to eat out at a buffet. At the end he handed me the bill. I paid with hesitation, because he didn’t ask or talk to me about it, but I didn’t wanna make a scene. I come home to my husband asking for more money too because he "can’t manage money." I guess girls really do go for their dads. FML

Today, my mom, who still refuses to get a mobile phone, was late coming home, so I was sent to buy dinner. Dad wanted seafood. I picked it up and returned, only to find Mom was already back with McDonald's. Dad insisted we eat that, despite my protests and MY money I'd spent on HIS request. I made sure Mom saw the Verizon ads. FML

Today, my mom admitted that the only reason she took me out for lunch was because she felt guilty over going on a massive shopping spree for my sister while I was forced to stay home alone. I thanked her for the Wendy's meal anyway. FML

Today, I was minding a 6-year old boy. He begged me to take him somewhere. I rang his mum, and she said I could. He picked to go to McDonald's. He ordered chicken. After his meal, he told me he was vegetarian, and wanted to try some meat while his mum wasn't around. I got the blame. FML

Today, as I was walking home from school with my guy friends, my dad pulled up by the sidewalk, offered me a handful of dollar bills and said, "Get in, baby." Only after we drove away and he started laughing did I realize I'll probably never hear the end of this at school. FML

Today, I saw a man help an elderly lady with her tray at the local McDonald's. I wanted to do something nice for him, so I added a couple extra nuggets in his meal. He later came up to me and told me I was dumb and didn't know how to count, and that was why I was working at McDonald's. FML

Geez, his lack of impulse control is not your fault. Tell him he needs to pay you the money back. You gave him YOUR money to get him to do you a favour, he failed at that favour, so now he needs to reimburse you.

Omg can we all stop attacking the fact that it's McDonald's and all the shit about their nuggets. It would be the same principle if it was anything else, even worse stuff (ex. 'Well you shouldn't trust me to get you baby formula/socks/gas/alcohol/drugs/cigarettes') it's the principle behind the act, not the item that was asked to be purchased

I once gave my mother money to go buy a pick three lotto ticket of 666 cuz it was Halloween. I gave her an extra $10 gas money too. (This was 1996 or so, and $10 was a lot for gas) She returned with cigarettes, and a beer cuz she thought I was throwing my money away. Those were the winning numbers. We became homeless a month later. That lotto money would have really come in handy.
