So passing over the actual fml (I think I've argued enough about that) I really would like to know what makes a rose italian looking as opposed to something else? I never really associated Roses or Gold with Italy. (note: I feel like someone will take this to be sarcasm. this is not a sarcastic comment. I really would like to know!)

I think roses dipped in gold are pretty tacky and wouldn't want one. BUT she should have showed some class and accepted your gift with the love it was given.

What bothers me most is you must feel like using "Italian" as a slur is acceptable behavior. God forbid you substituted with other slurs you would have pages of hate mail. Has your wife even been to Italy or is she just plain "White Trash"? Let me guess she must think she is high society because she buys her windex at Target. (lol)
