Today, I got a call from a girl I fell madly in love with 8 years ago. She disappeared from my life with no trace. Turns out she just finalized her divorce, has 2 wild kids, packed on 75 lbs, has $25,000 in debt and is taking meds to keep from going crazy. Now she wants me back. FML

#98, The majority of people here MIGHT be mean and shallow, but seriously not everyone here is. Also he might have actually LOVED her and now seeing her like that means a person he cared about/loved even if it was a long time ago is in a shitty life, so you know.. on the side note, I think you should just tell her no and run away, unless like some others said 'unless one of the kids is yours, say no.' #101 - lol :D

I'm going to assume that OP is a good man with a stable life who treats girls in his life well and with respect. Possibly OP could still have feelings for her despite her conditions, which we would call true love. But the woman who once looked down on you will ALWAYS look down on you. She might go OMG YOU ARE THE GREATEST GUY EVER WHY DIDNT I SEE IT BEFORE but the minute she realizes that OP "would love her no matter what", she would start treating him like doormat again. Guess what? Women like this deserve every bit of screwed up lives they end up with.

LOL This sounds exactly like my boyfriend's ex-wife... Time frame is right on too. My advice is to change your phone number and move far, far away if she knows where you live. There's probably a very good reason why her ex-husband left her fat, crazy ass and I guarantee you don't want any part of that shit!
