I went to a Goth party before and simply only 1 other person had bothered doing anything more than putting on a black shirt... and it turned out he WAS A GOTH! lol. But I brought make-up whips as well as touchups in my coat so if I wanted I could have looked like all the other guys by taking off my trench coat and using a face wipe. I wouldn't have bothered taking off the fingernail polish and it would be easier for a girl as they are allowed to wear make-up normally. I’m sure with a small modification you could have looked hot without looking much like a Goth at all. (If you had somewhere to stow the trench coat)

At that point I would say "Oh no you didnt!" and see if I could pull off rocking that look. Who cares if I didnt you know, you know what you were told, now they have to see you wear that shit.

That happend to me once. the one time i got invited to a party, it was "formal" so i wore a rele pretty dress and everyone laughed when i got there and they all wer n tshirt and jeans. :| i didnt care that much tho but goth? that suckkks.

I'm guessing it was a golf theme party instead of a goth themed party, u probably mistunderstood on the phone. I hope they had bacon flavored quiche =]
