Today, I got a letter in the mail about my periodic health assessment for active duty Soldiers. I came back positive for two curable STD's that are extremely common on Fort Polk. I haven't had sex with anyone but my wife. FML

As common as it is, you have to be careful how you go about handling it. If you confront her the wrong way, she could report to your C.O. that you've been abusing her. That will completely fubar your career. And of course you have to consider your housing situation, you may have family housing, but if you split from your wife, that will change. Not to mention your monthly pay. You could try going to the Chaplin. Show him/her the test results, explain that you've been faithful to your wife. You could get your C.O. involved. That way they'd have a heads-up as to the shit-storm about to come down when you confront your wife. Any way you cut it, CYA
