Today, I got an email saying the gift I'd ordered for my boyfriend of three years had been sent. I ordered it a couple of days ago because I thought he needed cheering up. I guess he found a better way of doing so himself; he broke up with me yesterday. FML

I recently broke up with my girlfriend of 3 years. I have a ton of stuff from her that I've no idea what to do with.. Can't bear to see it go, but at the same time, I don't want it in my house. I also ordered something for her that she got AFTER we broke up.. Maybe he'll see the gift and decide he made a mistake.

Either return it and get your money back or, IF he was an ass during the breakup, send it to him broken, or give it to someone he knows and mention it had originally been ordered for him.

I think you should still give it to him, tell him the truth. That you ordered it a few days before and were going to surprise him :) maybe it'll open his eyes to what a great person you are and that he made a huge mistake

Can you cancel the order? Or stop it, call them up and explain the situaton. I know it sounds embarrassing but, a lot of times, if you explain, they'll help you.
