Today, I got back from a romantic vacation at a fancy hotel with my boyfriend of 6 months. After a steamy love session, I confessed that I was in love with him. Later, when I got out of the shower, all his stuff was gone and I was stuck with the entire week's hotel cost and no ride home. FML

Oh dear, I'm sorry he did that to you. Don't worry, now you are away from that asshole and can find someone worthy of your love - someone who won't run away because you want to be something more then a **** buddy.

"**** buddy." Come on, BLNovelist, the term "friend with benefits" sounds so much nicer!

Yes, because if I call a fat man chubby, and a racist "Racially intolerabe" It obviously means they are a better person even though it's the same freckin thing.

It's called a euphemism. However, a "**** buddy" seems like someone where the ******* is the primary feature of the relationship, but "friend with benefits" might mean someone you might actually spending time with (like you would with a non-sexual friend) but you might also **** from time to time. I'll have to look into it.

That's a lot of effort just to get sex...

If you see what we'll do for a Klondike Bar, you can only imagine the lengths we'll go to for sex.

You do realize this isn't the early 20th century. While it is ok to not have premarital sex,NOT EVERYONE shares that belief. If you do,fine and dandy but just because you do doesn't mean everyone has to.

Wow.. You mean it took you that long to admit you were in love? You had sex without being sure you were both in love? Even worse is he wasn't in love with you? And beat it when he found you were?! How is it that people go this far in relationships and not even be in love? You both deserve it. And this is why our world sucks today, too many people have forgotten about love.

So the couple HAS to be in love before having sex? Someone in a relationship can't go for 6 months without saying one of the most widely used and abused phrases of all time- "I love you"? I mean, really, Is it so ridiculous that the OP had sex with her bf- who was with her for 6 months- before being "sure" they were both in love? Jeez, THIS is what's wrong with the world today- when people think uttering this 3 word phrase catapults them into a safe little place where nothing can go wrong cuz "we love each other :)" It bugs me when people preach their morals to the OP and point a finger to OP's supposed moral lapse for the reason someone else ****** up OP's life!

Perhaps what #35 meant by making sure he was in love with her was that she might have watched his actions--because saying "I love you" really doesn't mean you're in love with the person, of course. Actions speak louder than words. Don't get me wrong, though; I think the guy was a complete and total jerk for what he did to her.

My guess: he just doesn't feel the same way.

some people don't think this stuff through.... I hope he finds a new life, because once you tell your friends... i'm sure he'll get that beat down thats coming.

u say u love each other before "love sessions" so this doesn't happen!

Let's face it, you were just a long booty call.
